Aspects that may influence Andy's music style:
-Technology has had a significant affect on the music industry in recent years, with a rise in online streaming, downloads, and apps such as MixRadio and Spotify, which allows people to like and share songs they like. Although many people would argue that the increased use of online downloads and streaming music has killed the industry in recent years. However some would argue that this new platform of listening to music has saved the industry. With the ever-changing technological world, artists and their record labels need to keep up with these new platformsm so that they don't miss potential money-making schemes, therefore the artists may be affected by this, as their music career becomes more of a virtual experience.
-Large scale human movement can influence music style, as it would mean that communication between the artist, the record label, and the audience is more imperative. The movement would also mean that the musical instruments, and music ideas are moving, therefore large scale human movement means that certain genres will tend to be influenced by others.
-Social and economic factors may influence music style, as the cocio-economic factors in certain areas will affect the mood, and perspective of different bands and artists, therefore aspects such as world issues (war) will affect artists views of the world, and therefore their music, either the atmosphere their sound creates, or the lyric content in the songs they produce. This will change the type of music they produce, and may influence their fans' perspective of the world, because of this, the artist's record label would need to ensure the content of their clients songs would be thought-provoking, but not too overt that it may cause radical controversy.
